My Haan SI-35 Review
I’ve been a fan of the Haan brand for a while now, but when I began researching steam floor cleaners, the Haan SI-35 really stood out.
I’ve written reviews on a handful of other steam cleaners, including other Haan models, and I have to say that the Haan SI-35 is my favorite Haan steam cleaner model.
In case you’re wondering, some of the other steam floor cleaners I’ve reviewed during my search include the Eureka 313A, Wagner 905, Bissell Steam Mop Hard Floor Cleaner, Bissell 1867, and the Shark Vac Then Steam Mop.
I also checked out the Euro Pro Shark Steam Mop, Haan FS20, Euroflex Monster EZ1 Steam Mop, and the McCulloch MC-1275.
I didn’t neglect the steam mop pads, either, which are worthy of researching considering they are an essential component to the steam mop you choose. They’re just as important because they affect the quality of the results you receive after you clean.
I researched the Bissell Steam Mop Pads and the Haan Microfiber Pads, which seemed to offer great results for Bissell and Haan steam cleaner models.
I looked at so many different steam cleaners that I decided it didn’t make much sense to discard my findings after all of my efforts! So, here you have it: My review on the Haan SI-35, one of the many I’ve written.

The Haan SI-35 steam floor cleaner model is a lightweight, user-friendly steam cleaner model that is specifically designed to reach and clean floor surfaces where other steam cleaners cannot. It weighs around eight pounds and measures out at 6.1 x 13.1 x 24.8 inches. It runs on 120 volts and 1200 watts, and it’s made with a 19.5-foot power cord.
Features and Benefits
I didn’t want to spend too much time droning on about the Haan SI-35 model information because the beauty of the Haan SI-35 is really found in its features and benefits. There was so much I liked about this steam cleaner, so here goes.
First, I absolutely loved the look of this cleaner. Style might not be a big priority on the top of your list when shopping for a steam cleaner, but I still think it’s worth mentioning!
The Haan SI-35 is incredibly stylish and sleek, so much so that I simply loved looking at it. It makes all of those other steam floor cleaners out there look bulky and boring.
The next best thing about the Haan SI-35 is its functionality. Unlike a lot of other steam cleaners I reviewed, the Haan SI-35 is made to clean those hard-to-reach places.
It can zip around corners and furniture, so you can easily clean those stubborn spots that you can’t often clean on a regular basis. This is thanks to its low-profile head and pivoting handle construction. It can clean underneath your furniture and in those tight, tricky crevices.

Cons
In all honesty, it was really hard for me to sit down and write about the drawbacks I found with the Haan SI-35, because as you can probably already tell from customer reviews I researched, there has been a lot more good than bad circulating about this steam cleaner! The function, practicality, design, and the style of the Haan SI-35 is dynamite.
However, this wouldn’t be much of a review if I didn’t tell you some downsides, now would it? Something I didn’t like about the Haan SI-35 was the frequent need to change the pads while cleaning.
Granted, this depends how dirty your floors are and how long your cleaning session lasts, but I found myself having to change them often.
Also, I’ll agree with some of the other reviews I found that stated the cord is too short. I do wish it was a bit longer. I can look past these cons, though, thanks to the many other areas the Haan SI-35 excels.
If you’re looking for a highly efficient, stylish, and affordable steam floor cleaner, the Haan SI-35 will meet these standards and then some.
